Eleonora Longhin

Eleonora Marta Longhin, PhD, has received her PhD in Environmental Sciences at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. She joined NILUs Health effects laboratory in 2018. Her research within in vitro models of cyto- and genotoxicity has been focusing on assessment of nanomaterial health effects using advanced biological models and assays, predictive toxicology, safety-by-design of nanomaterials, cyto- and genotoxicity testing, particles internalization in cells and oxidative stress and damage. She has been responsible for management of a large H2020 grant, and acts as NILU PI in several national and international research projects.
