• Description Diagnostic box for visualization and measurement of ion beam characteristics is developed, constructed, and tested in Labortory of Physics at FAMA facility. The beam detection technique was mastered by measuring the luminescence as a result of the collision of the beam with KBr or CsI (Tl) scintillators using a CMOS camera. The original software was developed for processing the recorded image, from which data is obtained for measuring the value of 4D RMS emittance of the beam of charged ions using the pepper-pot method. There is also the possibility of beam reconstructions in phase, spatial and angular transversal space. A Faraday cylinder is also developed within the diagnostic box to measure the beam current. With this measurement techniques, we examine the characteristics of the beam at the FAMA installation, which will improve its transport characteristics along the experimental channals. We intend to perfect the measurement technique of the pepper-pot device, which would be based not on one, as it is now, but on several recorded images, which would increase the device measurement range.
