The XI International Conference of the Balkan Physical Union (https://bpu11.info/) was held in Belgrade,from August 28 to September 1, 2022.The „VINČA" Institute of Nuclear Sciences - National Institute of thе Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade, participated in the co-organization of the conference, with financial support as well as engagement in the international scientific and organizing committees, together with other relevant scientific institutions in the country. The conference program was realized through 15 scientific sections, 20 lectures by invited lecturers both from the Balkan countries and from the non-Balkan part of the European Union, 5 round tables, workshops for the teaching staff in the subject of physics as well as social gatherings.
Eleven researchers from the „VINČA" Institute took part in the international scientific boards of nine scientific sections, while 35 researchers participated with oral presentations, poster presentations and manuscripts. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen old friendships and establish new ones for future international projects and collaborations. The next congress of the Balkan Physical Union will be held in Bucharest, Romania in 2025 (https://balkanphysicalunion.info/).
