PROJECT DESCRIPTION
AIDA2020 aims at pushing detector technologies beyond the state-of- the-art and offeringAIDA2020 aims at pushing detector technologies beyond the state-of- the-art and offeringhighly equipped infrastructures for testing of detector systems, in particular ones related tovertexing, tracking and calorimetry at future detectors. Vinca Institute was a partner of the FP7AIDA project, and now of its successor AIDA2020, is participating as a collaborating institute. We are involved in WP14 - Infrastructure for advanced calorimeters, primarily in the test-beamstudies of a prototype of a luminometer for ILC. One PhD thesis (I. Smiljanic, Luminositymeasurement at ILC, University of Belgrade, 2016) was supported by AIDA2020, in particularthrough participation in the test-beam campaigns at DESY.AIDA2020 is a Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) action, funded by the EU underHorizon2020.
